What Does Compostable Actually Mean?
Compostable packaging is not the same as biodegradable. Biodegradable simply means a material will break down eventually, with no guarantee on timeframe or what it leaves behind. Compostable means something specific: the material breaks down into carbon dioxide, water and organic matter within a defined period under composting conditions, leaving no toxic residue and no microplastics.
Every product in our range is compostable. In industrial composting facilities, our sugarcane and palm leaf products break down fully within 60 to 90 days. In home composting, the process takes 3 to 6 months. What remains is nutrient-rich organic matter that returns to the soil.
The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) recognises compostable packaging as a valid derogation from recyclability requirements. Products meeting composting standards are explicitly permitted under the regulation. Switching to compostable now means your packaging is not just sustainable, it is regulation-ready.

High-precision etching

Heat Branding
A heated metal die stamps your logo into the material. Creates a deep, rustic indentation with a natural finish. Fast for high-volume runs.

Very fast for high-volume production. Offers a tactile, physical depth that flat printing cannot match. No ink required.
Requires a custom metal stamp for every design, adding to upfront cost. Not suited for multi-colour or photographic artwork.

What materials do you use?
We manufacture products from three plant-based materials: sugarcane bagasse (a byproduct of sugar refining), areca palm leaf (naturally shed leaves, heat-pressed) and bamboo + PLA (a bamboo and cornstarch blend for reusable tableware). No plastic, no PFAS, no chemical coatings.
What is your minimum order quantity?
MOQ depends on the product and whether you need custom branding. Standard products are available from stock in smaller quantities. Contact us with your requirements and we will provide specific quantities and pricing.
Where do you ship from?
We hold stock at our warehouses in the Netherlands (Baarn) and Germany. Orders ship from the nearest location, with delivery available across the EU.
Can I get samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes. We offer sample packs so you can test products with your own food and service setup before committing to a bulk order.
Are your products PFAS free?
Yes. All of our products are completely free of PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). They meet the PFAS limits set by the EU PPWR regulation taking effect in August 2026.
Do you offer custom branding?
Yes. We can print your logo, text or design onto most products using food-safe ink. Custom sizes and shapes are also available with a lead time of 4 to 6 weeks.
Are your products suitable for hot and oily food?
Yes. Our sugarcane and palm leaf products are naturally grease and moisture resistant without coatings. They handle hot meals, oily food, sauces and liquids. Microwave safe, oven safe to 220°C, freezer safe.
What certifications do your products have?
Our products are PFAS free and manufactured to EU food contact safety standards. We are actively pursuing additional certifications as well. Contact us for current certification documentation.
